Data Deletion

How to request deletion of your Tallk account and data.

1. Account deletion

You may request deletion of your Tallk account and associated personal data. If an in-app deletion flow is available, you should use that flow. You may also contact Tallk by email.

2. How to request deletion

  • Send an email to huyenanh24042k4@gmail.com.
  • Use the subject line: Tallk Account Deletion Request.
  • Send the request from the email address connected to your Tallk account where possible.
  • Do not include your password or sensitive personal information in the email.

3. What may be deleted

  • Account profile data.
  • Learning profile and onboarding data.
  • Chat/session history connected to your account.
  • Saved vocabulary and notebook content.
  • Correction, re-expression, translation, and learning history connected to your account.
  • Non-essential account data that is no longer needed to provide the service.

4. What may be retained temporarily

Some information may be retained for a limited period where necessary for security, fraud/abuse prevention, legal compliance, backup expiration, dispute handling, or service integrity.

  • Credit ledger and transaction integrity records.
  • Security logs and abuse-prevention records.
  • Backup copies until normal backup expiration.
  • Aggregated or anonymized data that no longer identifies you.

5. Processing time

Tallk will try to process deletion requests within 30 days where reasonably possible. More time may be required if identity verification, backup expiration, legal requirements, or technical limitations apply.

6. Community content

Posts or comments made on third-party platforms such as Reddit, LinkedIn, or Instagram are controlled by those platforms. You may need to delete those posts directly through the relevant platform.
