Last updated: June 8, 2026
1. Acceptance of these Terms
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Tallk, including the website, app, AI language-learning features, beta credits, community links, and related services. By creating an account, accessing Tallk, or using any Tallk feature, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use Tallk.
2. About Tallk
Tallk is a beta language-learning product that helps users practice through AI conversations, role-play scenarios, grammar feedback, re-expression, vocabulary support, translation feedback, voice-related features, and learning history.
Tallk is currently operated by an individual solo developer. The public product name is Tallk, and the current website is trytallk.com.
3. Beta status
Tallk is currently in beta. Features, credits, limits, pricing, availability, AI models, languages, user interface, and product behavior may change as the product develops.
During beta, Tallk may be interrupted, changed, limited, reset, or discontinued for testing, maintenance, safety, cost-control, or product-development reasons.
4. Eligibility and age requirement
Tallk is intended for users who are at least 16 years old, or the minimum age required in their country to use online services without parental consent, whichever is higher.
Tallk is not directed to children under 13. If you are under 13, you must not create an account or use Tallk.
5. Accounts and security
You may need an account to use Tallk. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity that occurs under your account.
Tallk currently supports email/password authentication and may support Google sign-in and other providers in the future. You must provide accurate account information and keep your email address accessible.
- Do not share your account with others.
- Do not attempt to access another user’s account.
- Notify Tallk if you believe your account has been compromised.
6. AI language-learning features
Tallk uses AI systems and third-party AI providers to generate conversations, corrections, re-expressions, explanations, translations, vocabulary support, voice-related responses, and other learning assistance.
AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, inappropriate, or unsuitable for your context. Tallk is a learning assistant, not a source of professional advice.
- Corrections and native expressions are suggestions, not guaranteed perfect answers.
- Role-play characters and scenarios may be fictional or simulated.
- Do not rely on Tallk for legal, medical, financial, safety-critical, immigration, academic-integrity, or emergency decisions.
7. User content
User content includes text you type, prompts, chat messages, voice/audio input, transcripts, corrections, vocabulary entries, notebook content, translations, feedback, community posts, and similar content you submit or create through Tallk.
You keep ownership of your user content. You grant Tallk a limited permission to process, store, transmit, display, and use your user content as needed to provide and improve the beta service, including generating AI responses, preserving learning history, managing credits, debugging, and maintaining safety.
- Do not submit sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for your own learning and you understand the risk.
- Do not submit content that is unlawful, abusive, hateful, sexually exploitative, privacy-invasive, or harmful.
- Do not submit another person’s private data without permission.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse Tallk or interfere with its operation.
- Do not abuse credits, automate requests, scrape the service, bypass limits, or overload the API.
- Do not reverse engineer, copy, resell, or use Tallk to build a competing service without permission.
- Do not use Tallk to create harassment, deception, spam, malware, illegal content, or content involving sexual exploitation of minors.
- Do not use Tallk in a way that violates the rights of others or applicable law.
9. Beta credits and usage limits
Tallk may provide free beta credits, including signup credits, daily refill credits, or other test credits. Beta credits are for product testing and language-learning use only.
Beta credits have no cash value, are not property, are not transferable, and cannot be redeemed for money. Tallk may adjust, reset, expire, suspend, or change beta credits and credit policies at any time during beta.
10. Paid services
Tallk does not currently offer paid subscriptions or paid credit packages in this beta version. If paid services are introduced later, additional payment, subscription, cancellation, and refund terms will be provided before purchase.
11. Intellectual property
Tallk, the Tallk name, logo, design, interface, product structure, and related materials are owned by or licensed to the operator of Tallk. Tallk™ is used as a trademark.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or use Tallk branding or product materials except as allowed by law or with written permission.
12. Community and feedback
Tallk may use Reddit, social media, email, or other channels for beta community discussion, feature requests, and feedback. Community spaces may be public and controlled by third-party platforms.
Feature suggestions, comments, bug reports, and other feedback may be used to improve Tallk without compensation to you.
- Do not post private account information or sensitive screenshots in public communities.
- Serious account, privacy, or security issues should be sent by email rather than posted publicly.
13. Account suspension and termination
Tallk may suspend, restrict, or terminate access if we believe you violated these Terms, abused the service, created risk for Tallk or other users, or if service changes make continued access impractical.
You may stop using Tallk at any time and may request account deletion as described in the Data Deletion page.
14. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Tallk is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis during beta. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free output, data availability, model accuracy, or that Tallk will meet your expectations.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Tallk and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost profits, loss of goodwill, or service interruption.
15. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms as Tallk changes. If changes are material, we will try to provide notice through the website, app, or other reasonable means.
